This is a short spectral piano composition that will be part of a larger piece in 3 movements. It is composed with specific ideas from my upcoming book of spectral composition and the motifs are written in a particular way to depict shooting stars.
Shooting stars, despite their name, are not stars at all. They are actually meteoroids that burn up upon entering the Earth's atmosphere, creating a visible streak of light in the sky. This phenomenon is what we commonly refer to as a "shooting star" or a "falling star. Enjoy!
